Pastor Rhoda Gertridge
Rhoda Gertridge currently serves as the pastor of New Beginnings Christian Ministries in Greenwood, Nova Scotia, Canada. She received Jesus as her Savior while in elementary school. As she grew, she became actively involved in her Christian organization’s youth conventions, children’s and youth camps, and Sunday school classes. She had been a worship leader for more than three decades and had participated in the tambourine praise dance ministry.
She holds two degrees - a Bachelor of Science in Commerce, with a major in accounting and a Bachelor of Theology. Prior to coming to us in Nova Scotia from the Philippines in 2024, she served as one of the pastors in a Christian church in her home province and attended various pastors’ conventions and conferences.
Rhoda continues to preach and lead worship, and has an innate passion for music. She is married to Heath, one of our deacons and preachers. She has no children of her own, but has numerous nieces and nephews whom she loves very much. Her heart is to help people know Jesus so that they gain a deeper knowledge of Him, grow in their relationship with Him, and faithfully serve for the glory of God. Recognizing the value of each day, she is committed in spending the rest of her life by faithfully serving as a good messenger of the good message of Jesus Christ.
